Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

T-Ray-Head-Original-shot-Feb-2008-200x300In past issues of The Exit Planning Review™, we have looked at why cash flow is so important to third party buyers, and by extension, to sellers of closely-held companies. In this issue, we will examine why cash flow is also crucial to those owners who wish to transfer their companies to insiders (employees, co-owners or children) and how to allocate cash flow.

*Enhance your Presentation Skills*

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Is the medium really the message? In the world of professional speaking, having great content is key…but you must present your ideas in a way that you are both memorable and repeatable. On March 5, 2010, The National Speakers Association – Indiana Chapter hosts Lou Heckler, CSP, CPAE from 10am-2pm at the Meeting House in the Village of West Clay.

Lou Heckler, the 2009 recipient of the Cavett Award, NSA’s highesthonor in the speaking profession, will address how to create a simple template that you can use over and over again with any speech, workshop or seminar. Key areas Lou Heckler will cover: using stories to enrich and clarify your message, including the one element that every story needs; delivering your speech in a compelling way that keeps audience members on the edge of their seats; making the audience feel like they are on the stage with you! This workshop is open to the public. Cost: In advance – $39/members and $59/guests. At the door – $49/members and $69/guests. For more information and to register for this workshop, go to www.nsa-indianaspeakers.com or call 317-430-9100.
