Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Seeking Applicants for Class XXXV

INDIANAPOLIS -The Stanley K. Lacy (SKL) Executive Leadership Series is seeking emerging community leaders to apply for Class XXXV. Applications are available online at www.SKLIndy.com. Applications are due on Monday, April 26.

SKL is a program of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce designed to help emerging community leaders become more informed about the issues and needs facing central Indiana, more motivated to get involved in addressing those issues, more connected and more effective in their service to our community. Its mission is to equip class participants with the knowledge and resources to become powerful agents of change in the community.

Stanley K. Lacy Program to Award Up to $15K in Grant Funds

SKL Class XXXIV offers grant to improve lives of at-risk youth

(Indianapolis – February 4, 2010) – The 34th class of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series (SKL) is awarding a grant for up to $15,000 to an area organization with a comprehensive plan for preparing at-risk, non-college-track youth for entering the work force.

The class has specifically designated at-risk youth between the ages of 15 and 20 as their focus. Proposals should demonstrate how measurable results can be achieved within a twelve-month period from the date of the award.
