Indianapolis-based Rare Bird Inc. has been honored with a 2008 WebAward by the Web Marketing Association.
The honor for “Outstanding Achievement in Website Development” was awarded to Rare Bird for their work on e-PatternsCentral.com, a convenient online source for web-deliverable patterns in crochet, quilting, knitting, plastic canvas, tatting, cross-stitch, sewing and crafts.
The site was created for the publishing division of Berne, Indiana, based Dynamic Resource Group (DRG).The WebAwards are the premier Internet award competition that judge web site development against an ever-increasing Internet standard of excellence and against peer sites within an industry. With thousands of entries from more than 40 countries, the WebAwards set the standard of excellence by evaluating web sites and defining benchmarks based on the seven essential criteria of successful web site development, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.
