INDIANAPOLIS — Rainmakers, Indianapolis’ fastest growing business association, announced Nikki Lewallen has been promoted to Vice President of Development.  The newly created position provides primary support for expansion hubs and strategic partners.

Lewallen’s main responsibility will continue to be connecting members to each other and representing Rainmakers at community events. In addition she will be responsible for development of strategies to retain existing members and recruit new members. Supporting area Vice Presidents, she will manage community outreach and strategic partnerships with other regional business associations.

“Nikki has been an integral part of Rainmaker’s explosive growth since she joined the team almost two years ago,” said Tony Scelzo of Rainmakers. “This new role will allow the organization to leverage the things she does best; connecting members and being an ambassador for Rainmakers to the community at large.”

Before her promotion Lewallen was the Director of Membership Development for Rainmakers. During her tenure, the organization has doubled in membership size and tripled the number of events hosted each month.
